Report shows KS and MO residents dealing with financial stress


MARYVILLE, Mo. - A personal finance website has given an update on the states they believe are going through the most financial stress.

According to WalletHub, Kansas ranks eighth when it comes to the most financially stressed residents. Missouri isn't far behind, ranking 11th on the website. Iowa is in the middle of the pack at 26th, while Nebraska ranked near the bottom at 42nd.

Between January and July, WalletHub looked at nine metrics, including the average credit score of residents and changes in the number of bankruptcy filings.
